Dimitris Tsakas studied under scholarship at Berklee College of Music with masters such as Andy Mc Gee, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone and Steve Wilson.
He has established himself as one of the most prolific saxophonists in the Greek jazz scene over the past two decades, having been featured in over 200 albums spanning various genres.
The concept for the new album Conversation Helps, was born during a rehearsal with friends and musical partners , Dimitris Alex and Kimon, as they explored the themes of composition, performance, and creativity in Greece.
Through their discussions, the trio realized that “Conversation Helps”!
